Celebrity gossip juicy celebrity rumors Hollywood gossip blog from Perez Hilton

2- The type of audience that this blog encompasses is that of a virtual fashion/entertainment/drama & gossip media hyped audience, in other words the audience is more concerned with what their favorite celebrity id doing and wearing.

3- The main focus of Perez Hilton ( a media/ fashion icon) is to inform the regular out of the mill 'joe' of whats going on in the world of celebritism ( if thats even a word ), but to basically let the "people" know what celebrities have been up to the good and the bad and of course the embarrasing, all the way to what they're wearing, sponsoring and basically whats new in the media/fashion/entertainment business.

4- I actually found this assignment to be very interesting because of the amount of comments and fans these bloggers attain with just by doing something they love or like to do as a hobby they have literally found themselves becoming fully dedicated to being a blogger and giving the people what they crave, informing them on these new ideas and information is actually incredibly time consuming and cool.

The URL for the blog I chose is: http://venturebeat.com/2009/09/14/tc50-with-penn-teller-your-iphone-does-card-tricks-too/ and the title is TC50: With Penn & Teller, your iPhone does card tricks too.

The audience for this blog is people who are interested in the iPhone, and most likely people who own iPhones. It gives them information on a new application available to them. The audience is also people who are into magic and maybe even fans of Penn and Teller.

The focus of this particular blog is to showcase a new application for the very popular iPhone, and to get people interested in this new application. Penn & Teller are trying to market themselves, and this is a good way to do that.

The audience for this blog would be people that like to read the news and magazine articles. They would enjoy having these readings on google because its a fast way to look through the news.

The focus of this blog is to let everybody know about the new thing on google, 'flipper.' It's to inform people about flipper, let them know what its all about, and how it works. It talks about how fast it is to flip through the news on google. It talks about how you can email articles that you like to friends. Its a new way to look at the news.

1. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/teaching-computers-to-read-google.html Teaching computers to read: Google acquires reCAPTCHA

2. The audience that this blog is trying to reach is a very broad one. It encompasses everyone who is using the internet, specifically those who use "Google" frequently.

3. The main focus that Luis Von Ahn, the co-founder of reCAPTCHA, and Will Cathcart, the Google Product Manager, are trying to inform to the world is that Google is acquiring reCAPTCHA in an effort to teach computers how to read scanned text so that everyone who uses Google will be protected from spam and fraud.

4. I really enjoyed this blog, because it was very informative and as a Google user I feel safe knowing that the people running things are taking care to keep their customers as safe as possible.

1. The URL and title for this blog is http://it-csu.blogspot.com/ and August U.S. Video Game Sales Slide 16%

2. This particular blog could be geared toward younger people but also older people too. Really to anyone who enjoys playing videogames such as myself. Another big part of the audience is the corporations that make the games because this is who the blog is really about. The main participants in the blog are as I said before gamers, because they like to know thing about the games they play and how well the games are doing in the stores. Also like stated before the companies participate in these blogs because they like to hear things from the consumer’s point of view and get their take on the games so they can know which area to improve in.

3. The main focus for this blog is to basically inform the gamers of the world about the recent sales of the games systems that they have grown to love over the years. Another focus for the blog is to just keep the companies aware, even though they probably already know, about the sales of the games so they can know how they can keep improving them so that the sales will steadily rise and not fall. So when other people comment on the blogs companies love to read them so that they kind of know where they stand in the gaming industry.

I’m sorry, but we have to ban music. That’s just the way it is.

2) The audience is just about anyone who likes music and has a witty sense of humor.

3) This blog is basically saying that it is ridiculous that the music industry is expecting us to pay for a 30 second preview of songs. Just like Phenry said, "You wouldn’t by a boxed product without at least looking at a picture, would you?"

“Toys R Us Ad Points to $199 Wii Price Drop This Month.”

- Audience: Who participates in this blog would be Nintendo gamers, or anybody wanting to know about price cuts in a Wii.

- Focus: The focus of this blog is; they heard from Wal-Mart that there will be a price cut in the Wii systems, but Wal-Mart would not give them the price. They then found that Toys R Us have in their ads that the price is $199 USD instead of $249 USD. They asked Nintendo if it is true, and they got a response of "Nintendo does not comment on rumors and speculation.” The Wii price cut should be affective about the end of September, like around September 27th.

“TomTom rolls out two new XXL GPS units”

2)The audiences for this blog are people who obviously travel or commute to different locations on a daily basis and would like to know their way around. This audience would also like to keep up with the latest gadgets so they’ll have the most recent and effective model. GPS gadgets are small devices that you mount in your car to direct you to the destination of your choice.

3)The focus of this blog is to improve routing technology. This new technology will be more effective in directing people where they need to go. The blog explains that TomTom is about to release two new GPS devices. The TomTom XXL 530S and XXL 540S. The XXL 540S even has a map of Mexico, but of course the price will be higher than the 530S they are also releasing with just the maps of the U.S and Canada.

The main focus of this blog would be to aid people with questions on their Shadow. It talks about an update for your phone, how battery life isn't great if you utilize your phone to it's fullest extent, etc. Really, the main focus is just to help people understand and maybe answer some questions people were having.

1.http://technorati.com/posts/WA8RVtefrHXy5q1jJdmYm1lVDFNx0uAHDcqKzMNslNs= Nintendo Wii price is dropping.

2. The type of audience that this blog is for is for gamers, and for the parents of gamers. This blog is really for individuals who don't have a Nintendo Wii but are looking to purchase one

3. The main focus of this blog was to inform the public of the Nintendo wii price drop during the holiday season. Hopefully this will cause the Nintendo wii to be more competitive and cause them to improve their graphics.

4. I found this assignment to be very interesting because when I looked at other blogs, there was a lot of feedback. I didn't know that so many people participated in blogs. More importantly, many of the bloggers offered good insight from a consumer’s point of view.

1. http://nexus404.com/ Blog
title: Dell ST2210 & ST2310 1080p Monitors Released [New Dell ST Series Full HD Widescreen Displays for the Budget Conscious]

2. This blog is for people looking for new computer monitors that are just as good as any thing else but a little more cheaper. It compares recent monitors from dell with the 2 new ones that they came out with. This blog is also for people who know a lot about new technology and can put their insights on what they think of it. Not only is this blog letting you know about the 2 new monitors dell just came out with, but it also shows you and gives you information on other items and accessories.

3. The focus of the blog is really kind of like an advertisment to inform and compare dells two new monitors with the recent ones. The difference is that the two new ones are more cheaper then other ones. Your still getting something just as good, but if your tight on money, then this gives you options. This blog even shows pictures of the new monitors. The main point is that the new, budget friendly ST2210 and ST2310 are available now directly from Dell.

4. I enjoyed this blog because I learned that not only can you find information on items in store or on the website but you can also find information on blogs.

3.
Targeted audience are the individuals who are interested in purchasing wii game system in the near future. Also individuals who are interested in the game retail competition.

4.
Focus is to first make people aware of the competitive price drop. Some people may be contemplating purchasing a game system based solely on the prices of the different systems. Also indicates competition has gotten stronger and thats why wii feels the need to lower the prices by $50. The article does state that wii has not officially announced price drop, but the source is a sales flyer from Toys R Us slated to go public the week of September 27th. The ad lists the wii on sale for $199.

http://www.techcrunch.com/about-techcrunch/

Techcrunch

Based on their thesis statement and the vision the founders had when creating this site, they wanted to appeal to savvy consumers within the technological industry. After reading through a lot of the posts, and a lot of the comments after each post, I feel that this site is doing exactly what it was intended to do. All of the responses are informed and passionate in ways that only people who are “in the know” can comment and react. These would be the people who stood in line to purchase one of the very first iPhones ever, and who are just as eager to add the latest gadget from other companies to their stock piles of new technology. I feel like my brother would like this blog very much actually ☺ As in any blog that allows people to comment how and whenever they want, not all of the responses are professional or appropriate, but for the most part, I recommend this blog as a way to stay up on all the current events in online companies and products.

In their own words, Techcrunch was created “June 11, 2005, as a weblog dedicated to obsessively profiling and reviewing new Internet products and companies.” Through the years their vision has grown with the industry, allowing the founders to continue to claim that their blog is a helpful, up to date account of what is happening in the technological industry. It profiles companies and inter-company feuds, and while both sides are presented, as well as the information we receive from the press, the bloggers also have very definite opinions of their own which they present after presenting both sides. In essence, they are not touting their own opinions as the best opinion, they are simply stating the facts, stating what they think, then allowing the readers to agree or disagree depending on the reader.

1. The URL is:
http://ggtennis.wordpress.com/2009/08/29/usta-warns-players-against-using-twitter-seriously/
“USTA warns players against using Twitter – Seriously?”

2. The audience for this blog is going to be any tennis fan, mainly those interested in the USTA, which is the United States Tennis Association. I’m more of a Rafa Nadal fan, myself, but the American players are good, too. This blog would mostly attract the fans that are following their favorite players on Twitter.

3. The focus of this blog is the USTA’s warning to the tennis players competing in the 2009 US Open to be careful about tweeting during the tournament. This blog doesn’t really state the real, fact bases reasons, but instead speculates with comical points. For example, the fifth argument by the blog jokes about how the globally renowned tennis star Maria Sharapova’s dog, Dolce, could get onto her Twitter account and litter it with his bad language. Then the eighth point states: “Serena’s tweets after a loss…HOLY CAMOLY! Makes Dolce’s tweets look like a fluffy puppy composed them.” (Dolce is a fluffy, white, pomeranian). All in all, I was quite amused with this blog even thought it wasn’t fact based, it did give me, and probably a lot of other tennis fans, a good laugh.

4. I was really happy to find a tennis blog that included technology for this assignment! I spent about half an hour trying to find the perfect one. This blog also makes me want to go back onto the Twitter account that I created for this class and follow my favorite tennis player, Rafael Nadal. Eh, I probably won’t though. =]

This blog attracts a very wide range of reader’s varying from aspiring blog creators and technology geeks to the average person in today’s society who uses any form of technology. I find this blog especially accessible to the average person who has a limited knowledge of technology because of its simplicity. Many topics are appealing to people like me who aren’t particularly interested in technology. Such topics consist of Facebook, Gmail Mailbox, Twitter and commonly used applications. Perhaps this is why this blog has reached such a high level of popularity reaching the 40th most-favored blog on the Internet, according to Technorati. As stated by Amit Agarwal, “The purpose of this site is to help you take maximum advantage of the software tools and web technologies at your disposal so that you spend more time doing things your really love.” This includes software reviews, how-to guides, video tutorials, technology news and productivity tips.

2.The audience of this blog is someone who has a grievance with Apple for whatever reason. It seems the audience of this blog wants a place to vent their grievance and disappointment in the way Apple has handled a certain situation.

3. The focus of this blog is to provide proof that Apple did indeed lie about rejecting Google Voice as an app for the iphone. Apple stated in a letter to the FCC they were still pondering if they would accept the app. This blog shows that Apple did reject the sale of the app and then lied about it.

4. I found this blog interesting because of the number of people upset with Apple for rejecting the Gogle Voice app and then lying about the rejection. I guess I'm still not real sure if it was the rejection or the lying that has so many upset with Apple. I don't own an iphone nor have I ever used an iphone so I don't know all the ends and outs of buying apps and downloading them to the phone so I am sure I don't fully understand the issue here. What I do think from my limited knowledge is that Apple has the right to accept or reject an app to be sold on their site for what ever reason. I guess my question to all of you who have more understaning on this issue and on how iphones work is, why is this a big deal? Why does it matter if iphone rejected and/or lied about the rejection of Google Voice?

The general audience and blog responses are people who are interested in the apple and its products because they all comply with each other. Probably folks who feel the way I do. All I own is apple products, and at school all my classes require the use of Microsoft products. This hurts me because i cant log on to myitlab so im forced to go to school or work at a friends house. I will never buy a macintosh product becuase they have updates which arent free frequenty, and Macs dont. Just watch the commercials and youll understand it all.

The focus of the blog i looked at was describing pricing and easy use of all apple products.

Some of the features missing include: using email to mail a page or a link to a website, your web browsing history, and leaving bookmarks to go back to continue at the point where you stopped working etc..The blog also states how Google Chrome was the quickest to leave the beta status.

Titled: "Toothpaste Caps"

2. The audience for this blog is dental hygenist, pediatricians, and concerned parents.

3. As a mother, I can understand the importance of dental hygine for children. Fortunately, my son loves to brush his teeth. However, it is very important to make brushing teeth fun for children. The use of pets and familiar surroundings is a great idea to encourage children to brush their teeth. I would reccomend this blog/website for any parent struggling with their children and dental hygine.

The people that will go to this blog are the ones that are just fed up with the stupid hackers and spammers and phishers that we have to deal with online.

The person who wrote this blog was focusing on the guy that was caught and sent to prison because he stole $700,000 from people like you and me.

I think that blogging is pretty cool. There are lots of issues and conversations going on out there about many things that concern us, and that we can participate in to get clarity on the issue, or just have a good time.
